The operation of the cooling system of thyristor modules of a power-supply source has been analyzed, taking into account the operation modes of a PN-V1 dc plasmatron. The analysis is based on the modeling of the thermal state of the power unit, taking into account forced convection. The temperature distribution in the heat sink, housing of power modules, and the space surrounding the power supply unit is obtained. The developed model makes it possible to analyze the thermal state of the power-supply unit and assess the effectiveness of the cooling system under various operating modes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
