Abstrakt: A recent report from Capital Medical University in Beijing, China discusses the potential use of CCL4 as a serum factor in the differential diagnosis of central nervous system inflammatory diseases and gliomas. The study found that levels of CCL4 were significantly higher in gliomas compared to inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system. The researchers suggest that assessing serum CCL4 levels may be useful in distinguishing between these conditions for clinical diagnostic purposes. This research highlights the need for non-invasive or minimally invasive diagnostic techniques in order to avoid complications associated with invasive procedures. [Extracted from the article]
