A recent study conducted by researchers at Kyung Hee University in South Korea explored the impact of couples traveling together on the transport performance of long-haul truck drivers. The study found that couples traveling together can improve driver-family interactions and enhance transport performance. By reducing perceived health, financial, social, and performance risks, couples traveling together can increase the psychological capital of truck drivers, reduce job burnout, and ultimately improve transportation performance. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for transportation companies and government departments in formulating strategies and policies for truck driver couples traveling together.
