The article discusses research which focused on non-specific symptoms pathway (NSSP) programmes and the diagnosis of large vessel giant cell arteritis (LV-GCA). Topics explored include the use of the NSSP programme by primary care physicians in making referrals for patients with possible malignancy, the common clinical manifestations of LV-GCA, and the diagnostic accuracy of computed tomography (CT) imaging in identifying LV-GCA. |
