Abstrakt: This scientific letter from the Turkish Archives of Pediatrics discusses three cases of anisocoria, or unequal pupil size, in pediatric patients with asthma who were treated with nebulized ipratropium bromide (NIB). The authors aim to raise awareness of NIB-related anisocoria, which can be mistaken for more serious conditions, and to explore the potential mechanisms behind it. The cases highlight the importance of appropriate mask usage during nebulization and suggest considering a pilocarpine test before resorting to unnecessary imaging for diagnosis.
