The article discusses a novel traction technique for endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) that enhances operational ease and flexibility for challenging cases. The technique minimizes gastrointestinal mucosal damage and simplifies coordination between the operator and assistant, reducing the risk of surgical complications. However, there are concerns about its applicability to difficult regions and complex lesions, as well as potential limitations in providing multi-angle traction and sufficient traction force for fibrotic lesions. Additionally, there is apprehension about adjusting the clipping position during the operation and its impact on tissue and pathological diagnosis.
