Abstrakt: Geopolitical actions in the world of the supply of mineral raw materials have, first, a physical part, that is, the territory and its quality, the peculiarities of its geological history (fundamentally geochemical), and the ease of access to it. The conditions of the property and the control of the production also count in a decisive way, as well as social awareness. This work describes these conditions and recognizes them in eight cases of fundamental raw materials. The conclusion indicates that despite the concentration being more widespread than that which occurs with fossil fuels, no persistent geopolitical actions have occurred thus far that have appreciably endangered the supply chains.
