Abstrakt:	The article discusses the importance of community partnerships in research, specifically focusing on the Trans Women HIV Research Initiative (TWIRI). The authors highlight the negative impact of cisnormativity on the validity and reliability of research involving transgender and gender diverse (TGD) individuals. They emphasize the need for meaningful engagement of TGD people in research, addressing barriers such as stigma, discrimination, and lack of awareness.
