The reasons for the decrease in hydrocarbon production volumes of PJSC Ukrnafta were analyzed. It was established that the main one of them is the insufficient resource hydrocarbon base. It was determined that the following are the main directions of increasing the Company's hydrocarbon reserves. 1. The discovery of new deposits is possible in sections of promising understudied sedimentary complexes on the Company's deposits, uncovered by a significant number of wells. Probable reserves of hydrocarbons in the sediments of the Bashkir carbonate plate, the XIIa microfaunistic horizon at the base of the Upper Visean sediments (Eastern region), the Upper Cretaceous stria world (Western region) can be increased by 90-120 million tons in oil equivalent. 2. The expansion of the limits of the Company's current special permits for already explored deposits of the Company's deposits will make it possible to increase another 20-22 million tons in oil equivalent. 3. With regard to the latter, the paradigm of regeneration of deposits at a late stage of development or long-exploited deposits, re-increase of reserves and their involvement in development is gaining popularity. Revaluation of reserves of deposits of exhausted, but now regenerated, as well as depleted deposits can increase reliable reserves of hydrocarbons by 45-50 million tons in oil equivalent. In this way, the increased reserves of hydrocarbons as a result of the implementation of the above-mentioned main directions and the current residual reserves of the Company's deposits will be a guarantee of a further significant increase in own production of hydrocarbons already in the next 3-5 years, the volumes of which may exceed: oil - 3.2 million tons, gas - 3.3 billion m³.
