Abstrakt:	A retrospective cohort study conducted by researchers at the University of Puerto Rico examined the impact of treatment interruptions on the survival of women with gynecologic cancer in Puerto Rico following Hurricanes Irma and Maria. The study found that treatment interruptions were associated with an increased risk of death among these women. The findings highlight the need for emergency response plans to support this vulnerable population during and after natural disasters.
