A recent study conducted by researchers at Cairo University in Giza, Egypt, has focused on the development of novel therapeutic drugs for pancreatic cancer. The researchers synthesized and characterized fifteen new pyrazole derivatives and tested their anti-cancer activity against pancreatic, breast, and prostate cancer cell lines, as well as normal cell lines. Four of the derivatives showed potent anti-pancreatic cancer activity, while two showed potent anti-prostate cancer activity. The study also investigated the mechanism of action of these compounds and discussed the relationship between their structures and biological properties. This research provides valuable insights into potential treatments for pancreatic cancer. [Extracted from the article] |
