Abstrakt: Glen Tay is a model railway layout set in the Scottish lowlands, designed to run trains from the 1920s to the 1960s. The layout was built with the help of the Cupar and District Model Railway Club and is operated using an analogue controller and push-to-contact buttons for the points. The layout reflects a fictional location in the Scottish lowlands and features a mix of locomotives and rolling stock from different eras, including the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) and British Railways (BR) operations. The layout includes various structures, such as a church, railway hotel, goods yard, coal merchant, blacksmith's shop, and industrial area. The builder of the layout plans to create two more layouts in the future. [Extracted from the article]
