This article presents a case report of a patient who had both COVID-19 and systemic capillary leak syndrome (SCLS), resulting in severe myocardial injury. The patient experienced symptoms such as fever, fatigue, and respiratory distress, and was diagnosed with cardiogenic shock and SCLS. The patient received treatment including mechanical circulatory support, steroids, and intravenous immunoglobulin, which led to an improvement in cardiac function. The article emphasizes the challenges faced in treating patients with COVID-19-related myocardial injury and SCLS, and highlights the potential treatment options available.
