Abstrakt: Results presented in the article represent part of a comprehensive study of the effect of thermal aging on the structure and basic properties of steel 15NiCuMoNb5 (WB36) and its welded joint. Methodological bases of the experimental study are briefly outlined. Dependences for the change in base metal and weld metal hardness on aging time are determined and analyzed. For three levels along the height of a weld profile dependences of the effect of aging on metal microhardness of the fusion zone of a welded joint are constructed as a function of holding time and location of the control point with respect to the fusion line. An assessment of possible mechanisms of the effect of aging on metal hardness properties is provided. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
