A recent study conducted in Japan examined the clinical outcomes and radiolucent line analysis of a cementless mobile-bearing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) system. The study found that patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) improved after surgery, with no loosening of components. Radiolucent lines (RLLs) were detected in a small percentage of patients at 1 and 2 years after surgery, but their occurrence was not correlated with PROMs. The TKA system showed improved outcomes compared to previous systems without implant-related complications.
