Abstrakt: A new report discusses research findings on gram-positive bacteria and their prevalence in urinary tract infections (UTIs). The study was conducted in Pakistan and aimed to determine the agents responsible for UTIs and assess their antibiotic susceptibility patterns. The research found that gram-negative bacteria were the most prevalent, followed by gram-positive bacteria and Candida spp. The study emphasizes the importance of generating a hospital-tailored antibiogram to effectively manage infections and combat antibiotic resistance.
