Abstrakt:	Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has stated that positive steps will be taken to include the Dhangar community in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. He emphasized that these efforts should be in accordance with the law and should not be unfair to any other community. The Chief Minister held a meeting with the Dhangar Samaj coordination committee to discuss their demand for inclusion in the ST category. He also mentioned that the inclusion process will follow the prescribed legal procedure and the opinions of the Advocate General and the law and justice department will be considered.
