The article presents a study which found that pole harvesting method is the most economical as compared to climbing harvesting method for harvesting oil palm bunches. Topics discussed include cost of operation for climbing harvesting and pole harvesting, cost economics for climbing method of harvesting, and mathematical calculations for economic aspects of pole harvesting. |
