The article discusses the concept of an extendable essay as a web resource for supporting lecture courses. It explains that an extendable essay is a web resource that summarizes the basic principles of a subject and allows users to request details, examples, and test questions. The essay can be useful for preliminary acquaintance with the subject, during lectures, and when preparing for exams. The article provides an analysis of an extendable essay on Laurent solutions of linear differential systems and discusses the structure and features of an extendable essay.
