Development of a TAKTIK kit based on game-based learning for secondary mathematics students.

Abstrakt: This research aimed to develop a TAKTIK game as a teaching aid for students aged between 13 and 14 years old (In Malaysia, they are in Form 2 Secondary Schools). The TAKTIK game focuses on topics related to Measurement and Geometry. The ADDIE model was employed in developing TAKTIK. The TAKTIK's validity was carried out by three experts in the field of Mathematics Education, evaluating the aspect of the game and the overall content. The TAKTIK Evaluation Questionnaire was used by experts to validate the game. Findings showed the Content Validity Index (CVI) is at a satisfactory level of 1.00 indicating that all the experts agreed upon the suitability of the TAKTIK game to be employed as a teaching aid. In conclusion, the TAKTIK game can be used to help students to learn topics related to Measurement and Geometry more interactively, and more importantly to have a better understanding of Measurement and Geometry topics.
