Abstrakt:	A recent study conducted by researchers from the Department of Oncology focused on the expression of miR-218-2 in the serum of patients with papillary thyroid cancer and its clinical significance. The study involved 100 patients with thyroid nodules classified as cancerous, 100 with benign nodules, and 50 healthy individuals as controls. The researchers found that miR-218-2 and its host gene SLIT3 were significantly down-regulated in papillary thyroid carcinoma.
