Abstrakt: |
A recent study conducted by Iran University of Medical Sciences examined the relationship between diet quality and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) among Iranian adults. The study found that nutrient density and diet quality were independent predictors of NAFLD. The association between diet quality and NAFLD was more pronounced in participants with abdominal obesity. The study suggests that early dietary intervention and education could help prevent the progression of NAFLD. [Extracted from the article] |
