Abstrakt: |
A recent report from researchers at Hofstra University explores the online and offline social experiences of young adults with psychosis. The study developed the Social Media and Internet sociaL Engagement (SMILE) questionnaire to assess the type, frequency, and nature of online social interactions and experiences among participants. The findings revealed that young adults with early psychosis experience both positive and negative social experiences online and offline. The study suggests the need for new scales and measures to comprehensively assess the nature and function of online social interactions and experiences. [Extracted from the article] |
