A new study published in the Annals of Indian Psychiatry explores the relationship between personality factors, gender, and academic achievement, coping mechanisms, and ego resilience in medical interns. The study found that personality and gender both influence these outcomes, and studying them together could help improve academic achievement and coping skills. The research revealed that emotional stability had a significant negative correlation with female gender, academic achievement, emotion-focused coping, and avoidant coping. Additionally, men were found to be more emotionally stable than women, indicating potential differences in coping styles and resilience. [Extracted from the article] |
