The article discusses the impact of silver diamine fluoride (SDF) on dental procedures and the spectrum of procedures performed. The author explains that the introduction of SDF has allowed for immediate caries treatment during the initial exam appointment, leading to more efficient and timely care. The article also presents data comparing the number of procedures before and after the implementation of SDF, showing a significant increase in both the number of people seen and the number of procedures delivered.
