Abstrakt: This article provides a scientific study on the macrozoobenthos communities in two lakes in Russia, specifically Lake Bannoe and Lake Kholmovskoe. The research aims to compare the macrozoobenthos in these lakes, which are both facing similar human impact. The study was conducted in 2022, and samples were collected and analyzed using standard methods. The article presents information on the taxonomic composition, density, and biomass of the macrozoobenthos in Lake Bannoe. Additionally, the article evaluates the water quality of the lakes using various indices. The study concludes that Lake Bannoe is moderately polluted, while Lake Kholmovskoe has relatively clean waters. This research is part of larger projects focusing on the ecosystem of the Northern Dvina River and the Solovetsky Archipelago. [Extracted from the article]
