Abstrakt: The resonance electron capture mass spectrum of N-benzyloxycarbonyl-glycyl-L-proline shows intense negative ions in the low energy range. An ion with a record cross section of 10–16 cm2 was detected, which formed by means of sequential fragmentation of a molecular ion, initiated by the release of a benzyl radical and an H-shift in the intermediate ion and its decarboxylation. The features of electron-induced reactions in N-benzyloxycarbonyl-glycyl-L-proline suggest that its substituted derivatives will exhibit increased neuropsychotropic activity or have new properties compared to N-phenylacetyl-glycyl-L-proline derivatives.
