Abstrakt: This article discusses a project that aims to improve the reliability of endometriosis mapping through Transvaginal Sonography (TVS) by developing an image processing technique. The technique quantifies the sliding sign between the uterus and adjacent tissues, with a focus on the Pouch of Douglas (POD). The researchers used a specialized image processing algorithm to extract frames from TVS videos, track tissue movement, and calculate relative displacement. The results showed high accuracy in differentiating normal and pathological cases, with a 94% diagnostic accuracy. The technique has the potential to improve endometriosis mapping accuracy and facilitate information sharing between radiologists and clinicians. [Extracted from the article]
