This article discusses a study that aimed to evaluate the changes in pelvic endometriosis using transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) over a period of 24 months in women who were treated with medical therapy without prior surgery. The study included 86 patients with ultrasound signs of endometriosis who underwent clinical and ultrasound examinations every 6 months. The results showed a significant reduction in symptoms, such as dysmenorrhea and heavy menstrual bleeding, as well as a decrease in certain types of endometriomas. The study suggests that TVS evaluation using the #Enzian classification can be useful in monitoring the progression of endometriosis in patients undergoing medical treatments.
