This article discusses a case study of a 75-year-old woman who presented with abdominal pain and elevated CA125 levels. Various imaging techniques, including abdominal-pelvic CT, pelvic MRI, and PET-CT, were used to identify the primary lesion. Ultimately, gynecological ultrasound was able to identify an elongated solid mass originating from the left adnexa, indicating a primary lesion of the left fallopian tube. The article emphasizes the importance of timely gynecological ultrasound in patients with disseminated abdominal-pelvic malignancy to facilitate early initiation of appropriate therapy.
