This article discusses a case of ectopic pregnancy in a Caesarean scar, which is when an embryo implants outside of the uterine endometrium. The case involves a 40-year-old woman who had previously undergone two Caesarean sections. She presented with abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding, and ultrasound revealed a gestational sac near the lower segment of the anterior uterus wall. The patient underwent a sac rupture procedure and ultrasound-guided aspiration to remove embryonic fragments from the uterine cavity. The article aims to raise awareness about this complication, as there is currently no preferred method for treating Caesarean scar ectopic pregnancy. [Extracted from the article] |
