Abstrakt: A study published in the journal Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology explores the impact of right occiput position on labor outcomes. The researchers used ultrasound to confirm fetal head and spine position in nulliparous women in spontaneous labor. They found that when the occiput entered the pelvis on the right side, there was a higher risk of difficult deliveries, including operative and instrumental deliveries. This finding, not previously described in scientific literature, may be valuable in assessing abnormal labor progress and determining risk. [Extracted from the article]
