This article discusses a case study of a 28-year-old Afro-Caribbean woman who experienced severe abdominal pain during her pregnancy due to cystic degeneration of uterine fibroids. The woman underwent ultrasound-guided cyst aspiration, which successfully relieved her pain. The article suggests that this procedure may be a management option for carefully selected patients when other medical treatments have failed.
