Abstrakt: This article discusses a case study of a 33-year-old pregnant woman who was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome in her fetus during a second trimester anomaly scan. The fetal echocardiography revealed a large thrombus in the left ventricle, which is a rare finding. The family ultimately chose to terminate the pregnancy, and the autopsy confirmed the diagnosis. The article concludes that the presence of a thrombus in the left ventricle can be attributed to poor myocardial contractility. [Extracted from the article]
