This article discusses a study on late-onset fetal growth restriction (FGR) and its impact on perinatal outcomes. The study found a high prevalence of late-onset FGR, with certain Doppler assessments showing significant differences between the FGR group and the appropriate-for-gestational age (AGA) group. Specifically, the FGR group had a higher umbilical artery pulsatility index (UA-PI) percentile and a lower umbilical vein blood flow/abdominal circumference (UVBF/AC). However, there were no significant differences in neonatal complications between the two groups. The study provides valuable insights into the prevalence and Doppler assessments of late-onset FGR.
