Abstrakt: This article, titled "EP08.10: Sonographic surveillance and perinatal outcomes among pregnancies with periviable fetal growth restriction," examines the impact of weekly sonographic surveillance on perinatal outcomes in pregnancies with periviable fetal growth restriction (pFGR). The study, conducted at two tertiary care centers between January 2017 and June 2023, compared outcomes between fetuses that underwent weekly surveillance and those that underwent serial growth assessment. The primary outcome was livebirth, and secondary outcomes included obstetric and sonographic outcomes. The study found that while there was no difference in livebirth rates between the two groups, the surveillance cohort experienced a higher rate of perinatal complications, suggesting that individual patient risk factors may have influenced the decision to undergo surveillance.
