Abstrakt: |
This article, published in the journal Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology, discusses the performance of routine ultrasound screenings in detecting fetal limb abnormalities during the first trimester of pregnancy. The study, conducted at a Prenatal Diagnosis Unit in a hospital, analyzed data from 3203 singleton pregnancies over a three-year period. The results showed that 0.43% of the fetuses had limb abnormalities, with the majority being diagnosed prenatally.
