Abstrakt: This article, titled "EP06.48: A decade's data of treating polyhydramnios," provides a retrospective analysis of the management and outcomes of pregnancies complicated by polyhydramnios. The study examined a cohort of 234 women diagnosed with polyhydramnios over a 10-year period. The results showed that polyhydramnios was associated with various causes, including gastrointestinal obstruction, cardiac diagnoses, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, structural anomalies, and genetic disorders. The study also found that indomethacin treatment was commonly used but often required subsequent amniodrainage procedures. The article concludes that while indomethacin may reduce the number of amniodrainages needed, there is no international consensus on the management of polyhydramnios. [Extracted from the article]
