This article discusses the evaluation of a novel semi-automated tool called SonoAVC™ follicle Auto Caliper for measuring the number and size of follicles during fertility treatments. The tool uses a deep neural network to place two-dimensional calipers on user-selected follicles. The study found that the tool's performance was comparable to manual caliper placement by medical staff, and it reduced the amount of keystrokes required for measurements. Overall, the tool shows promise in improving the efficiency and accuracy of follicle measurements during fertility treatments. [Extracted from the article] |
