Abstrakt: This article, titled "Perinatal outcomes of early Twin–twin transfusion syndrome treated with laser: an international multicentre study," presents the results of a study on the perinatal outcomes of monochorionic diamniotic (MCDA) twin pregnancies with early Twin–twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) that were treated with laser surgery. The study included 542 pregnancies diagnosed with early TTTS, with 12.2% of the women diagnosed at or before 16 weeks. The majority of cases (85.4%) were at stage II or III at diagnosis, and 81.5% of the cases were treated with laser before 18 weeks. The study found that laser surgery, even when performed before 18 weeks, was associated with a good outcome, with at least one surviving fetus in 67.4% of pregnancies and two surviving fetuses in 43.6% of pregnancies.
