This article discusses traits that can help in distinguishing phony geniuses, or corporate problem solvers, from real ones. Phonies do not like to talk about what they do. They may imply that talking to someone who cannot understand the nature of their work wastes time. In contrast, real geniuses cannot be kept from talking about their work. Geniuses become fascinated with every aspect of their work and cannot help but share their enthusiasm. In addition, phony geniuses also use many words to say little. |
