Abstrakt: Researchers from the Department of Diagnosis and Surgery at the University of the State of Sao Paulo in Brazil have conducted a literature review on the use of 3D bioprinting techniques and bioinks for periodontal tissue regeneration. The periodontal tissue, which supports the teeth, can be damaged by disease, leading to bone and ligament loss. The researchers explored different bioink formulations and 3D bioprinting techniques to develop biomaterials that support cell viability, proliferation, differentiation, and stability for periodontal tissue regeneration. This research provides valuable insights into the potential of tissue engineering for restoring tissue function in dentistry. [Extracted from the article]
