A report from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences in Karnataka, India, discusses the rare occurrence of ganglioneuroblastomas (GNBs) in the brain. GNBs are typically found in extracranial sites, but there have been fewer than ten reported cases of primary intracranial GNBs in pediatric literature. The report presents two cases of pediatric intracranial GNBs, highlighting the unique features and challenges in diagnosing these tumors. The research emphasizes the importance of recognizing the diverse clinico-radiological features of intracranial GNBs to avoid misdiagnosis. [Extracted from the article] |
