A study conducted at Debre Markos University in Ethiopia examined the practice of oxygen therapy among nurses at a regional hospital. The study found that a majority of nurses had inadequate practice with oxygen therapy, which can have negative effects on patients and financial repercussions. Factors such as lack of knowledge about carbon monoxide, breathing rates, and devices used for oxygen administration were identified as influencing nurses' practice. The study suggests that nurses should improve their knowledge and skills through further training and collaboration. [Extracted from the article] |
