The article discusses the evaluation of neurofilament light chain (NfL) as a biomarker for central nervous system (CNS) involvement in histiocytic neoplasms. Topics include the use of contrast-enhanced MRI for monitoring CNS disease, the potential clinical utility of NfL in assessing disease activity, and the methodology for testing and analyzing NfL levels in patients with histiocytic disorders. |
