| Abstrakt: |
This paper describes the benefits and roadblocks of solar power backup systems for residential use, specifically within the United States' Gulf Coast area. As the prominence of climate change legislation rises, so do the tax incentives, which makes the cost prohibitive nature of the initial installment of solar systems less so.
