The article focuses on the application of precision dentistry in diagnosing and managing apical periodontitis (AP) in patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). It highlights the limitations and challenges of current diagnostic methods, such as 2D radiographs, and advocates for the use of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) for more accurate assessment of periapical lesions. |
