The article discusses the safe and effective usage of community paramedicine to provide health and medical assistance to older adults in 2024. Topics covered include community paramedics' additional training as emergency medical services (EMS) providers, and the bridging of the care gap between EMS-based care and clinic-based care and home-based care. Also noted are barriers that limit the expansion of community paramedicine. |
