Abstrakt: Rehabilitation is essential in the road of recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, but rehabilitation is not always done in a monitored environment. Sometimes rehabilitations are done in homes, which is normally unmonitored, which would reduce the effectiveness of rehabilitation, as the effectiveness relies heavily on the adherence level of each individual. Therefore, the proposed system uses a microcontroller that is easily attachable to an existing Theraband Resistance band, to help monitor home rehabilitation. The system uses a FlexiForce A201 force sensor, to detect the force being applied to the resistance band, and the force will be displayed on the Blynk dashboard. The progress of the patient can be tracked through the dashboard as well. Besides, the system features a target load mode, where the physiotherapist can set a target load for the patient to achieve for their Home Exercise Programs (HEP). The average applied force reading from the sensor is used to determine whether the patient is performing the exercise correctly. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
