Research progress in modification of waterborne acrylic coatings.

Abstrakt: The monomer structure, polymerization methods and application status of waterborne acrylic resin are briefly described. A systematic summary of the research progress in modifying waterborne acrylic resins based on different materials was provided, modified materials can be summarized as nanomaterials, organic silicon, organic fluorine, polyurethane and epoxy resin, as well as some new materials. This article focuses on the reaction mechanism, corresponding mierostructure, and performance improvement of water- borne acrylic resin modified with modified materials.
